Terrance ferguson had extraordinary height when measured and his athletic testing stood out as well.
When he took to the field, Ferguson continued to appear fluid during passing drills.
Oregon’s Terrence Ferguson officially emerged as one of the most athletic tight ends among those who tested at this year’s NFL Combine.Oronde Gadsden II is primarily known for being an excellent pass-catching tight end but did not embarrass himself during sled drills either.
When it came time for pass-catching exercises, he demonstrated comfort navigating through cones and tracking passes downfield.
Other winners include:
Thomas Fidone II from Nebraska has entered early into this year’s draft without any doubt about his readiness.
He is an imposing figure whose overall performance on-field was only surpassed by his athletic testing results.
Joshua Simon from South Carolina displayed an impressive wingspan along with one of the best performances athletically.
His movement through passing drills appeared very smooth while catching balls seemed effortless for him.
Other losers include:
Luke Lachey from Iowa performed well during jumping tests but struggled with drops throughout pass-catching exercises while still looking like an NFL-caliber tight end.
Elijah Arroyo chose to abstain from participating in both athletic tests and field workouts which opened opportunities for Mason Taylor, Terrance Ferguson among others to potentially fill that gap.
The upcoming NFL Draft will take place April 24–26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, You can find more draft coverage including weekly mock drafts along with regular updates on eligible prospects.
