If you are in search of seasoned wide receivers, this free agent group is ideal for you. Among the top 9 players available, six are already 30 years old or more, and all of them will likely be at least 28 by the start of the season.
Tee Higgins, aged 26, was removed from the market when the Bengals assigned him a franchise tag for the second consecutive year. DK Metcalf and Cooper Kupp may be available via trade; however, we are focusing on free agents here. This class is lacking in quality.
Chris Godwin (ankle) and Stefon Diggs (knee) are recovering from important injuries. Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, and deandre Hopkins all faced challenges with new teams last season. Additionally, davante Adams might need to follow Aaron rodgers to maintain his performance level.
The good news regarding this free agent class is that these receivers will likely attract interest. The rookie receiver class is decent but not exceptional; Washington has already made a trade with San Francisco to acquire a struggling Deebo Samuel for a fifth-round pick. Houston also traded a seventh-round pick in 2026 to Jacksonville for Christian Kirk.
While I don’t have much confidence in these receivers as Yarn assets, I’m curious to see where they land when free agency officially kicks off on March 12. It’s exciting for us to speculate about potential outcomes.
keenly aware of this context, here are some potential destinations for the top free agent wide receivers this season. We will see if any of these scenarios materialize over the next few weeks.

&# x A ; It can be challenging dealing with Godwin at age 29 while still being part of Tampa Bay’s roster but it seems likely that he may reunite with them again.& nbsp;
This would make sense considering how well he performed last season before suffering an ankle injury during Week
7 which led him onto injured reserve status.
Godwin averaged an extraordinary
19 .7 PPR points per game last year which ranked second only behind Ja’Marr Chase’s
23 .7 points.In just seven games played,
Godwin recorded
50 receptions totaling
576 yards along with five touchdowns on
62 targets putting him on pace towards achieving
121 catches,
1 ,399 yards,
and twelve touchdowns overall.
We must keep an eye out regarding his health status though he’s expected back by opening day.
The rise of Jalen McMillan could impact both Godwin’s role alongside Mike Evans come
2025 as well.
The Buccaneers have appointed Josh Grizzard as their new offensive coordinator replacing Liam Coen who departed recently although Grizzard served previously as Tampa Bay’s run game coordinator throughout
the previous campaign which bodes well too!
If indeed Godwins stays put than I would rank him among No2 Yarn receiver worth drafting around Round four yet Sean Payton might lean slightly more towards Jones instead making it probable he remains low-end No2 running back worth selecting around round six while Minnesota or Denver could serve suitable spots given his age. p>

Prime landing spot: Rams
Allen is the most seasoned player on this list as he will turn 33 in April. He played in Chicago during 2024 and recorded an average of 12.3 PPR points per game, which was tied for the second-lowest figure of his career when he participated in at least eight games since 2014. Allen can still serve as a reliable slot receiver, especially with the Rams needing depth as Cooper Kupp is anticipated to be traded. I don’t have much confidence in Allen due to his age; however, he did display some potential with the Bears last year, achieving at least 20.2 PPR points in four of his final seven games. It’s also challenging to determine how much of Allen’s early-season difficulties were simply due to caleb Williams adjusting to the NFL. With the right team, Allen could be a pleasant surprise, and I appreciate his fit with the Rams. He should be a solid mid- to late-round pick across most leagues.
Prime landing spot:

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Diggs return to Houston given their need for receivers, even after acquiring Christian Kirk via trade from Jacksonville. Tank Dell (knee) may miss significant time this season, and Diggs will hopefully recover well from the torn ACL he sustained in Week 8 and participate by Week 1. Last year marked his first season with Houston where he connected effectively with C.J. Stroud while averaging 15.7 PPR points per game.
He had four games exceeding 18.5 PPR points within his initial six appearances; ideally he’s not past his prime at age 31 following a serious knee injury.
If he departs Houston then Dallas becomes appealing for two reasons: firstly because they require another receiver opposite CeeDee Lamb since Brandin Cooks is also set for free agency; secondly if healthy Diggs would provide valuable support.
Additionally, Trevon—his brother—is an exceptional cornerback on Dallas’ roster making it an intriguing narrative if they play together come 2025.
If fit and paired with suitable teammates,
Diggs could still rise as a No.
2 wideout across all leagues.
I’m doubtful considering his age but believe he’s worth taking around mid-to-late rounds across various formats. p>
