The Trump administration lodged its notice for appeal with U.S.Court Appeals for District Columbia Circuit right after Jackson’s ruling.
“The court finds that removing restrictions on plaintiff’s removal would be detrimental to defining and essential feature office as it was established by Congress and signed into law by president: its independence.” The court concludes they must remain.”
