A presentation from Optifye.ai, part of Y Combinator’s latest cohort, triggered a backlash on social media that resulted in YC removing it from their platforms.
optifye claims to be developing software designed to help factory owners monitor who is present and who is absent in “real-time,” utilizing AI-driven security cameras installed along assembly lines, as stated in its YC profile.
On Monday, YC shared an Optifye demonstration video on X (and also on LinkedIn) according to a capture preserved by TechCrunch.
